In order to facilitate the assembly of battery stack and increase the conductivity, generally press a layer of copper plate to bipolar plate as current collector. However, excessive compression force applied to the stacked electrodes may cause cracking damages, conversely, not enough pressure force may reduce battery efficiency and even result in sealing issues i.e. leakage of electrolyte.
We design and develop a novel type of terminal electrode with integrated structure, provide perfect solution via combination of current collector, bipolar plate and carbon felt. Terminal electrode has many properties of strong adhesion, low contact resistance, good tightness, easy assembly, etc, greatly reduces the assembly difficulty, and eliminates all kinds of hidden dangers caused by deterioration of battery performance.
